Biography
Joseph Handy brings over 20 years of leadership and operational expertise in managing world-class institutions to his role as Senior Strategic Advisor at RestoTech Group LP. Known for his ability to scale complex organizations and drive innovation, Joseph provides high-level consultative guidance to RTG's mission of transforming hospitality brands through technology.
Throughout his distinguished career, Joseph has held pivotal executive roles, including serving as the President and COO of the Georgia Aquarium, where he was a member of the founding team. His leadership extended to serving as President and CEO of the National Black MBA Association and his current role as CEO of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Joseph's career began at the American Museum of Natural History, where he contributed to the landmark launch of the Rose Center for Earth and Space.
A graduate of the Kennesaw State University Executive MBA program and a Liberal Arts alumnus of The College of New Rochelle, Joseph has been recognized with the Secretary of State's Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award. At RTG, he leverages this deep well of experience to help the partnership identify and elevate businesses through sustainable, tech-forward growth strategies.
